Jack Shipley: Crafting characters, captivating audiences
I began watching classic films when I was very young. I wanted to do that. Then started working with town theater not the famous "Town Company" but the one that was created decades earlier with older actors in the basement of a church, "The Wig and Whiskers" of Needham, Massachusetts . These actors taught me so much that I still carry with me.
As I got older. . . other community acting, then directing and finally choreographing my favorite show of all time "A Chorus Line".
Cut to decades later, I began doing film very late in life, my new love. Students at University of Rhode Island needed this old guy. . . and they all helped me create my demo reel and now here we are.
